Red worms in media basket and refugium

Good evening guys,
While cleaning the media basket and rotating the chaeto in my refugium I noticed a handful of red worms like the ones from the picture. Should I be worried or just let them be. I haven't seen any in the display tank that I can tell. My tank has been running for about 6 months now.

Bristle worm. Don't grab with your bare hands. You could cull the population.

Bristle worms. They're harmless. Good cleaners though. They'll eat up tiny bits of food. Don't pick them up with your hands though
