Hi Everyone!
I just noticed some red hair-like, wormish things in my sand bed. Does anyone have a clue as to what this is? Thanks!

Detritus worms and a sign that you need to increase water change frequency thereby removing their food source. Wrasses should eat these worms

That kind of make sense since my engineer gobies have been moving all of the sand to the edges of the tank. It piles up there and looks like hell. I’ll just take some of it out and do more water changes. Thanks for your help!

I have these too saw a big one today

Any idea what the actual name is? Detritus worm seems like a general term

I still haven’t figured out what these are... they could be spaghetti worms, which are apparently good for the tank.
