I have this red growing On a good bit of rock is this normal? what is it?

Suck it out, you can treat for it, people have different opinions on it. Its not harmful to the tank, just looks nasty when it spreads everywhere.

From the look of the rock color, tank looks new and your prob gonna have a bunch of new stuff covering the rocks over time.

There's a few dif products, look up "cyano cleaner/remover"
