Is it bad to redo your aquascape, should you set it and never change it

tired of my aquascape and wanna move some around but dont wanna harm tank

No, you can change it up. Just don't disturb the sand too much (unless you stir it regularly anyways). The bacteria remains on the rock regardless of what position it sits in your tank :) I would test a couple of days afterwards just to verify your numbers all still look good.

Just wondering since I saw this. I'm considering rescaping aswell. The only difference is I'm considering taking one of my rocks out. Would this potentially cause an issue? There are 5 rocks total and I have ceramic stuff in my filtration for beneficial bacteria to grow so might not matter too much? Any help is appreciated!

the only thing you will do is cause you fish to re establish territories, might get a few chasing each other for a bit

Did you end up taking a rock out? I’m thinking about doing this aswell but don’t want my newly established bio to take a hit. Interested in seeing how this worked out for you guys!

Yeah so I ended up taking two rocks out and replacing them with some live rock I bought at my LFS. Great thing about it was he bought the rock I took out back for some credit! It was actually super easy to do and because I only have 2 clownfish and cleanup crew there was no aggression or anything like that when I rescaped. I'm way happier with the new look and extra room for corals! You can see the purple rock is all new and the white is what I left from my old aquascape because it had corals glued and my anenome has his spot on them.

WOW! I love it! My tank is a 10g nano cube, and I have a rock that I really just want to remove, without replacing. Theres just too much I'm starting to think. Your tank looks AMAZING!!! Def a good move on your part, I would love for my scape to look that good
