So cyno still hanging on not bad though. All week I expected the skimmer to be busy and it wasn't. I read somebody saying vibrant took there skimmer off line. But it just didn't seem right. So i took it apart. It wasn't that dirty heck it's only been running maybe 45 days. I cleaned it and boom it's skimming lol. Note to others eshopps Nano needs monthly cleaning. Now I'm thinking that was a week lost with the toothbrush. Lol.

15% WC change. Scrubbed the reactor and replaced carbon. Cleaned skimmer yesterday. Changed filter pads. Dipped candy cane it still won't open? Added a gallon RO to ATO. Glued down a shoom. 1.5 ml of vibrant. 55 min complete.

If you have android you can download snapseed it helps alot as you can adjust color temp to remove some of the blue

Maintenance complete. I was starting to wonder why I haven't seen my firefish lately. That's because he's on the carpet behind the tank. I always keep a close eye on him when the lids off and I'm working in the tank. Probably pretty hard to even see him jump. I new the risk my fault. So... another firefish or something else? I'm open to suggestions. I like firefish although he liked his cave more than I liked.

Nice Nuvo 20, I cant wait to see all of the rock work covered in zoas and mushrooms! I too find that my eshopps nano skimmer puts out tons of microbubbles, but I haven't figured out how to stop that. Also when cleaning it, make sure you check the air inlet on the cover to the pump. Mine likes to build up calcium deposits there which drastically reduces bubble production.

I actually bought it from reading your build. I don't have any micro bubbles anymore. Run a piece of floss ahead of the black foam insert. I'm actually very happy with it now.

Hahaha well then, I'm glad you like it. It does pull some nasty junk out of the water but mine does put more microbubbles in the display than what I would like. I'll be adding the filter floss tonight when I get home from work
