Redoing the Plumbing in my sump

I have an established tank and want to redo the plumbing in my sump. Currently I have all clear plastic tubing and want to upgrade to PVC for look and organizational purposes. Is there a way I can do this? I know most PVC glue takes a few days to cure and I can not just shut down my tank. Any advice for me with this project?

Most should be dry within 20-30 minutes ..... I've waited 3-4 hours to be safe but don't think you have to.

U can run water through like 5 mins later... Once u feel u have a strong bond... Especially for water just passing through w no pressure really. I've done plenty of plumbing in the past and never waited that long to run water... As mention KSzegi.... Give it half hour if you want to be extra safe and let the chemicals dry a bit longer. Good luck and trust me on this... U def don't have to wait hours.

When installing pvc with glue, if you slightly twist back and forth until you can't twist anymore, wait 15 mins, its ready for use.

Rigid PVC glued can be used pretty quickly. When doing plumbing on pools I usually only waited long enough to clean up and put the stuff back in the truck before starting the pumps. 5-10 min should be plenty if you have a good seal. If not waiting longer won't help it.
