Hi reefing community!.

My name is Mariano and I live in Florida.

Im so excited to share my progress with you guys.

On May 27th i decided to finally get a reef tank and bought a Red Sea Reefer 350 G2+ from SaltwaterAquariums.com. I didn't want anything too big so I think 72 gallons is just perfect for me.
That same day I bought all the necessary equipment just to have it ready for when the tank arrives.
On Friday June 7th, I received an email from Saltwateraquariums stating the aquarium was just shipped. I also received a text from ESTES Express the same day with the tracking number.
I just checked the tracking number and the aquarium arrived yesterday ( June 12 ) at ESTES Boynton Beach Delivery facility (about 40 mins from home).
It took about 5 days to ship from Texas to South Florida.
I hope to get a call from the delivery company today or tomorrow to set up a delivery date.
I will be posting pictures of the equipment and aquascape today, and hopefully I receive the tank tomorrow or Saturday so I can set it up this weekend.

Oh man, it's gotta be like the night before your birthday in your house!

Congrats Mariano!!! Will you be making your own water?
Definitely NOT! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:. At least for now. Im definitely planning on getting a RODI system within the next 2 months. I have a LFS about 10 mins from me. So im buying it from them for the first 2 months.

Very cool! It’s just so convenient to make and mix your own salt water.

Very nice! I am setting up my new Reefer 350 as well. Curious why you went with the 7000 return pump and 300 Skimmer? I purchased my tank as the MAX package and that comes with the 5500 return pump and 600 skimmer.

I just wanted a a bigger return pump so i dont have to use it at full speed ( providing less noise) and the 300 skimmer (according to red sea ) is rated for 160gallons mix reef. :)

A week later and water is in, i will post pictures when the water is clear.
In the meantime i built this box for cable management. (sorry about the sh***y paint job) best i could do lol.
I never been a big fan of cables so this should do a pretty good job at hiding them. This box will be going in the left side of the sump. Since theres lot of extra space there.

That is looking great! I really like how you’ve mounted the controllers. Excited to watch your progress as I set up the same tank model.
