Redsea A B C

It’s designed as an easy way to add elements to the tank in one go, up to around 90g, but ultimately the elements will still get out of balance and need adjusting from time to time.

I still have a pot left from years ago, and just found it easier to add the elements individually as needed.

So how would I do so for a 85 gallon tank?

There are two ways to do this. Dosing by calcium consumption or testing using the trace elements test kit. I dose by calcium using the Hanna calcium tester so much easier than dosing using the trace elements test kit

I shall find that and use it, I just see some of the rock and coal turning white and I know I need to put it in, so I need to find that and do it. Do I put it straight in the tank? or sump?

Please go into further detail about the rock and (coral? Coralline?) turning white.
