Hi everyone!

Im considering to start dose the redsea abcd trace elements.. the question that i have to you is, how much?
im adding about 1,4L saturated limewater each day in my 58gal system. ive used the reef chemistry calculator. looks like im adding 5ppm of calcium each day( through the kalkwasser)

from what i can read of the redsea containers i need too add 0,77ml of each trace elements each week.does this seem correct? any thoughts ?

I dose red sea trace once a week in between water changes. I dose 10ml once a week. My alk and cal dose 32ml per day each. I have a heavy stocked 65g DT.

I'm not a fan of dosing trace elements based on calcium demand, but I know that is how Red Sea does it.

The problem arises in tanks that are mostly not hard corals. calcium usage is low, but trace element usage may be just as high, or higher.

Only lps/sps. I think i will start with 2/3 of whats needed. And go from there. On icp i score usually around 88-90% usually low on mangan, iodine, barium, vanadium and strontium

FWIW, I've not ever seen any difference in coral growth/coloration when any of those elements are low.

Mn does seem (at least in my tank) to make Goni's extend better so I add some DIY once a month or so.
Most likely it is just a subjective feel good thing.
