Redsea ATO issue

Is my ATO backwards ???
When the float is all the way down , like the sump is empty, it doesn’t flow water out, but the higher the float goes (more water in sump) the faster it goes lol

i never took the time to figure out why this happens

Sounds like something is backwards with it

Is there a way to flip the float ? Don’t these come put together from factory ?
