I have asked this question before but i forgot what the answers were. I am planning on mixing my salt with Redsea coral pro how much salt do i need to add per 5 gallons of rodi water? Cups please.

I do 1/2 cup for every gallon of water. It should say on the bag or bucket depending on your goals and what you keep

1/2 cup per gallon gets me pretty close. I usually need to add a little more but its a good starting point.

It doesn't. I had to look it up to when I first started using it. It gives you some weird calculation of how many grams to use per liter or something strange like that, and only for large quantities.

1/2 cup per gallon (2.5 cups per 5 gallons) should work for just about any salt mix I would think...at least similar ones like RSCP with elevated levels of the common elements. The mixes are similar and the measurement itself is fairly approximate.

Always double check results with a hydrometer/refractometer...

1/2 cup seems about right. I use a 10oz scooper and it takes 2 big scoops per 5 gallon bucket... (20oz = 2.5 x 8oz = 2.5cup)

2.5 cups salt mix to 5 gallons of RODI water works out to a salinity of 1.026. Follow the mixing instructions closely after that.

I personally weigh mine, but it works out to 2 1/2 cups per 5 gallons.

I do 8, 1/3 cups. I use a 7:1 blue bucket to pro mix if anyone is wondering. Lands the alk around 9.
