RedSea Foundation B, carbonate or bicarbonate?

Hi, does anybody know if the RedSea Foundation B powder is bicarb or carbonate?

Hi Diesel, thank you for that - however I have checked the MSDS docs and 'sodium carbonate' is only listed for the liquid product from what I could see. Unless you have another source of information?

Also have you linked the post you meant to? (Not intending to be rude/ungrateful at all but I'm not seeing the relevance..?)

I'm seeing a (small) lowering of pH upon dosing it which I think implies bicarbonate. Hence my confusion.
I wonder if there is another way to test which it is. Maybe the pH of the stock solution or something.

Edit: - yes looks like pH might be a way to check, looks like it should be around 10 for carbonate and around 8.4 for bicarbonate. Will test it later.

Right I checked the pH of my stock solution of B and it's 8.3 so I guess it's bicarb.
