redsea light for fuge?

i have an extra redsea reef50 i was curious if this would be a good refugium light? im currently using a full spectrum houseplant lightbulb for it (ive used this light for freshwater planted tanks and my houseplants so i figured it would do the job in the fuge) but after watching a BRS video i want to switch out my light if the redsea 50 is a good choice what spectrums should i run? it only has blue light, white light, and a moonlight as a spectrum

It should work although you'll probably get better results with a dedicated refugium light (more red channels).

Yeah its fine. I like broad spectrum lights for macroalgae but it will do just fine. Different macro algaes tend to grow better under different color blends but I wouldn't worry too much. Anything that can grow zooxanthellae algae can grow other algae.
