Redsea Nano 20 Gallon /w stand

Reaching out here to see if anyone owns the Redsea Nano 20 Gal Cube and stand, and any feedback with regards. Yes, it's at a premium price, but not having any exposure to RedSea aquarium systems especially their all in one tanks, hopefully I'll be able to get a sense of whether it's worth the $$ for.

What's good about it and what's not.

Are you getting the Red Sea Nano Max or Red Sea Nano Reefer? I am assuming Nano Max as you mentioned all in ones.

To be very honest, I dont think the RedSea name adds much value here. Yes, it is a decent tank, but I could have gotten a JBJ or Nuvo for 1/3 the price and I wouldnt have known any better. I am actually disappointed in my Red Sea Nano Reefer for two reasons: The ATO is just too small...one gallon means you are filling it up every day. The down spout to the sump is always ridiculously loud. Ultimately, you are going to not care about the name ON your reef tank once you get stuff IN your reef tank .

Red Sea Nano Max was what I was thinking. Maybe I'll consider then a Waterbox - a bit savings as well.

I own one (it's empty at the moment) and its worth the premium in some means over the waterbox. I think I commented on the difference before. Let me check...

I do care about names and brands plus I could get this from a dealer, delivered complete. The folks are spot on with the ATO, it is not that great but does work pretty well. There's a great video series on YouTube with Nathan Willard that goes through the ups and downs. I think that if cost is an issue and one plans to add everything as needed, then RS is probably not for you. If you want a single unified experience and good warranty with a brand that is known to be premium, then go this route. I must admit, I'm not a fan of their lights but they work and its all one app with their reefwave, reefmat and reefdose. I own other other dosers but this is the easiest and most accurate way I have had control, even with an Apex (other than power). You can buy their skimmer too but I digress.

Waterbox - I don't know anyone that has one, but they seem to be going up against such as Redsea.
Your EVO is retired - how did you find it by the way?
