Redsea NO3 test kit Ratio 8:8

Hi,
I saw some ppl dilute the tank water with RO ratio 8:8 to have a better reading in RedSea NO3 when NO3 is around 4
With that ratio how would the color reading on change? Anyone know
I saw @Randy Holmes-Farley comment once about that in a post but could not find it

You could just use 10ml of tank water instead of 5ml and then double the reading value.

Yes, just multiply back up if you test a diluted sample.
