Redsea or Hanna

Who do I test redsea test kits or Hanna test kits? My redsea is telling me my levels are right where I wanna be but my Hanna checker is saying there low!

What are you testing? I would tend to trust the Hannah kit more since it removes the human eye from the equation

Whenever I question my Hanna I will do a second test ASAP and see if the checker is off. That’s the best way to tell though if it’s off more than .1 or .2DKH something is wrong with the checker or your methods. Just try very hard to be consistent in your testing methods for those two tests. I use a adjustable Pipette So I get exactly 10 ml of tank water every time. I feel that’s the weak point of Hanna Alk. Gotta read the bottom of the Parabola

I would test using the Red Sea method VERY carefully and then trust that one

Thats what I’ve been doing and have been getting the same consistent results and trust it more but when I do the Hannah it’s difficult results everyday!
