RedSea ReefDose 2

Hi all,

I just got the redsea reefdose 2. i’m dosing calcium and magnesium (both from redsea) and I dont know how often to dose or how many mL.. they are both currently pretty low right now : Mg: 946 Ca: 364. I have a 40 gallon tank with softies and some LPS that despite these levels are doing well but obviously I want to get them up.. So how much should I add to get them up and then how often to keep them up?

Dose half the recommended amount that the RS recipe gives you. Test daily until desired parameters are achieved and adjust accordingly. Usually after you reach your desired level you'll need to back off a bit. I run an RD 4 and can tell you the RS recommended dose was high for me. Bring it up slow.
