Redsea reefer 170 Auto Water Change Set Up Help

Hey Everyone! I have a Redsea Reefer 170 and I'm starting to set up an auto water change for it. I do 5 Gallon water changes at a time. How much water should I be removing/adding each day?

Am I right in assuming that I want to make sure the pumps add and remove at the same time so my ATO doesn't kick on? Where's the best place to set up the outtake and input?

Typically you'll change out 4.3 gallons every 2 weeks, so roughly 1160ml/daily. Yes, if you can't automate turning your ATO off during a AWC you'll want to have it add/remove water at the same time.

In terms of locations, do you have the external sump?

It's probably easiest to pull from after your filter socks and deposit to your return pump chamber.

Alright so the RedSea doser only allows 999ml a
Day on auto schedule. I’ll have to manually dose 601 to get the 1,600ML a day I’m looking for.
