Stay away from red sea skimmers guys. The customer service is horrible and they don't care about what you think. They will take your money and run. Please see my link its a video to my skimmer. That to this day red sea refuse to fix/ serve warranty. The pump is rattling. I placed the pump inside my sump on its own and it is the main source of noise. Brs reviewed this skimmer and said "cant even hear it" when it was less than half a meter away from them.
Seriously stay away from red sea. If my tank fails I'm terrified that they wont even cover me. Nothing but bad experiences from red sea at the moment. They even refused to replace a leaking gate valve from day 1 i set up the tank. I replaced it to a spears gate valve which has been untouched for a month even after a water change.
Heres the video. Which they say is "normal operating volume" and they have BLOCKED me via email as they replied to a different email of mine the next day and ive sent them two emails on my original email and its been 1 month and they havent replied.
Last warning....stay away from red sea.
