As anyone used this product? I acquired one from a tank tear down. thought I would try it but not sure if I like it or not. I am using 2 maxi-jet mods with it. I tend to get a lot of "Hum" from the maxi mods now and the clicking when they start. I can live with the Clicking but the hum is driving me nuts. They are both affixed with the Sure-Grip mods!

What I am wondering is anyone has used a different powerhead with these with better luck? Or are they just a good concept with a bad outcome in the end? Any and all tips would be great! Would I be better off using Koralia's with this?

its my understanding modded maxijets are not to be used with wavemakers.

koralias would be better

ditching it all for vortechs, or at least a controllable koralia or tunze setup would be best
