Hey, guys!
Can anyone tell me if a 600 gallon tank is enough to keep 5 redtooth triggerfish?
Does anyone have experience with keeping multiple redtooth triggerfish in one tank, what is their behavior like, are they often aggressive towards each other?

Yes i think youll be fine, I have 3 in my 265. Any fish has its own personality so it's always a crap shoot, especially with any trigger as they get bigger. I also have a sargassum trigger in the tank as well.

Mine coexist with the largest (7 inches) being the dominant one but mine don't schoal 24/7 if that's what your looking for. They do seem to hover in the water column more than actively swim. Sometimes they squabble with each other and the sargassum but I've had them all for almost 3 years. Just becareful with any trigger once it gets older, adding smaller or less aggressive fish might be a problem in the future.

I dont see an issue. With such varieties of triggers, I would want a mix but your call

Thanks for advice! Do you know of any ways to reduce their aggression other than adequate tank space?

Can anyone give me a tip on where best to place the Wavemaker so that the triggerfish feel comfortable? I plan to place two 13000 L/h wavemakers on two different sides of the tank right in the middle of the water level, I think that will be OK, what do you think?

With each other? Add them all at the same time and small. Generally they are more of the peaceful triggerfish.

As far with other fish? Add them last and small.
