I have my new 120 up and running. Now that it’s in the house and full of life I wanted to reduce the return flow. It has 2 -1” drains and 1-1” emergency. When I turn down the pump and try to adjust my gate valve, the secondary just makes up for the difference and nothing changes except for the secondary toilet flushing every 30 seconds. I was thinking of adding a 1 to 3/4 reducer at the top of secondary to decrease its flow. This making the primary more adjustable? Thoughts?

Once you turned down your pump, it's down to fine tuning your gate valve. If the secondary is filling up that fast and producing a siphon, open up the gate valve a little at a time until you get the flow you want out of the overflow. Sounds like your valve is closed up a bit too much. Need to increase flow through your primary. That should fix your issue.
