Reducing Phosphates

I am using Rowa phos successfully for 5 years to reduce phosphates.

The solution can be tailored if you understand the source of the phosphates. If they are coming from just daily feeding, then a fuge, ATO or water changes can be enough. If they are coming from dead/dry rock that is full of terrestrial phosphate, then you might have to get more aggressive.

Do you know where they are coming from?

I don't exactly know where they are coming from but have an idea. My tank was imaculate before I added a carpet nem about 5 months ago. I think it stemmed from the bioload of the nem. I want to keep the nem but need to keep my nutes under control

There are many good ways to reduce phosphate.

How high is it?
I don't have a test kit but I'm certain they are fairly high. I had a cyano outbreak which is under control. I then had a huge hair algae outbreak which I've scrubbed off. I'm now trying to reduce phosphates to keep everything stable. Ammonia 0ppm nitrite 0ppm, nitrate 10 ppm and ph is about 8.0 to 8.2.
