I got a 100 gallon water container to premix my saltwater. It has a 3/4" bulkhead. I just want to attach a pump for circulation and pumping it to my system.

I have several Blueline HD pumps laying around, but they are all 1". I would never reduce the intake for my actual reef. Think it matters just for this?

Thanks!

If you do find it causes cavitation which is very possible, install a ball valve on the discharge side of the pump and restrict the outlet to match the inlet. Once the in and out are matched it will go away.
