I'm just curios who has some, none or total redundancy in their system? It is the best piece of advice I have ever gotten to always have at least an extra return pump and heater on hand for any system you are running.

My advice is for people to run two small heaters as opposed to one large one. That way, the failure of one, either sticking on or off, won’t be catastrophic.
I also will run an airline in every tank, so if a pump fails, there will still be some oxygenation.
