Reefers, I am hoping you can help me solve one of the questions that has eluded me for several days. I have searched high and low on R2R,YT, and multiple other areas to no avail.

I am building a Innovative Marine 100 EXT mixed reef with dual Cor15 pumps. Each pump will drive a return. One will have a 55W UV sterilizer and the other an equipment/accessory manifold. I want to plumb them in such a way that should one fail, a two value move will allow either pump to drive the entire system. Yes, I know I could just keep a backup, but I am not always home where I could just run and swap them.

I plan on setting up 2 electronic ball valves and tying them into my Apex so that I can setup a "Pump Maintenance" button and an automatic failover should either of the pumps fail. I may need to add some additional check valves / flow sensors just in case one pump fails, and the automatic ball valves also fail as a backup.

Does this seem reasonable? Am I missing something?
