i ended up getting a Maxspect xf 230 BRAND NEW for..... $200. I thought it was a killer deal!

They didn’t have one on the shelf or else I would have gotten the 250. You can’t beat that deal! I went WAY over budget. I wish I would have had someone there to tell me “no”

I found some sweet stuff! Zoa's were the best deal, I got a 6 polyp cornbred rainbow infusion for $20, one of aznnuttys fully covered zoa rocks for $45 and a sweet yellow tipped blue tenuis from unique corals and a very nice indigo tipped stag looking mini colony from Hobe sound frags.
But best of all, I won the nyos 160 in Saturdays raffle! That freed up a bunch of cash for my new build, which will be a great help. Had a blast.

My daughter and I picked up a few frags. I bought these 7 frags (the ones on the frag rack) for about $50 (we bought from two places as a package deal and split them between us). Just put them in last night and the lights were still low this morning, but they already look great.

Your Reef had a 9 frags for $60 deal.

And we bought from Joe Knows Reef. Beautiful, reasonably priced pieces. And awesome T-shirts. Plus my daughter won the $200 gift card from them

Oh, we also restocked our clean up crew with snails from Billy’s Reef Connection. The Turbos are hard at work this morning.

I went to the show telling myself I only had room for 3 more Sps frags and ended up going a little overboard.

I think Jason Fox and Reinaldo at pirates reef are the only ones who had the Jolt. I ended up buying it from Reinaldo as it was slightly cheaper (still expensive $400). The frags they both were selling don't really look like Jason's original pic and they each told me a reason why, lol. Well Jason just said when it grows the polyps will get really bright. Reinaldo told me when he cut the frags they lost some color. Who knows what the frag will really end up looking like but I'll find out I guess. I will take pics later today.

As for the angry bird. I was over thinking the acrolandia for like an hour... when I finally said screw it the person in front of me was buying the last frag. They sent me to the shop where they had one frag left of acrolandia. The colony was INSANE. I was over budget already but just because i asked what was the guys favorite colony besides the one I was getting. All it took was showing me the angry bird colony and I was sold. I’ve never seen 2 color polyps like that. I whipped out the credit card and got the last frag.

What I was really looking for at the show was a good deal on a HW but there weren’t many and the ones that I did see were insanely priced

Well I couldnt risk carrying acros back although I was tormented . I won a Fluval SP6 for my new 200 gallon build in raffle which was amazing !!!

Other than that , got myself a Geo's calcium reactor for my current tank which can be used for my newer tank too - 6 x 18 . Best price discount of 15% off plus you get free needle valve and checkvalves worth 50$ . Couldn't pass it on .
Used BRS 20% off coupon for a carbon doser - best price on a new carbon doser

But the best part was meeting so many people - priceless and worth every bit of my travel all the way from cold Minnesota to Hot Florida

Ohh wait and I did get a special acro package from WWC who were willing to ship it to me - Old school Greg Caroll's Efflo - a huge chunky piece that was encrusted and Josh @WWC just sold me one that was not even for sale and ARI's Deep Purple - The colony was simply amazing with purple nody and red polyps similar to ARC fireworks

Amazing show by the @WWC and it was an honor and a privilege to see the 900 gallon tank . I told my wife - I would just travel again just to see the 900 gallon tank again and talk to teh fabulous WWC guys .

Very nice frags! I have been interested in the Acrolandia for awhile and messaged Two Guys about buying one but never got a reply. Interested to see your pictures once you post them.

I was praying for that fluval! I was ecstatic when I won the skimmer a few prizes later though. I agree just seeing the show is worth the drive, I was like a kid in a candy store.
