Julian Sprung will be starting things off speaking Saturday at 12:30 P.M. Julian is a graduate of the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology, and is President of the aquarium industry company @two_little_fishies that he co-founded in 1991.
Julian became known to the aquarium hobby through his monthly column Reef Notes in FAMA magazine, and many years of traveling the lecture circuit at aquarium club meetings and exhibitions around the world. His books include The Reef Aquarium, volumes One, Two and Three, which he co-authored with J. Charles Delbeek, Corals: A Quick Reference Guide, Invertebrates: A Quick Reference Guide, and Algae: A Problem Solver Guide.

Saturday at 2:30 P.M Bob Fenner will be speaking. Born in Rhode Island and raised overseas, Bob started early in life in the aquarium hobby. He has worked in all aspects of the aquarium industry from retail, wholesale, maintenance, tank construction, designer and to running his own businesses. With his passion for the hobby, he has contributed greatly to the industry by teaching marine sciences and authoring multiple books, including, “The Conscientious Marine Aquarist”. Today, Bob and travels the world scuba diving and photographing fish and corals, consulting, writing books and articles, and speaking at trade shows and conferences. He also runs the website, WetWebMedia.com.

Greg Carroll will start off Sunday @ 12:30 P.M. Greg is an long time aquarium hobbyist and presiding president of one of the largest reef clubs in America-Southern California Marine Aquarium Society(SCMAS). He is also one of the founders of Reef-A-Palooza. His talk topic will be “Good VS. Bad- Understanding Both Sides Of The Methods We Use In Reefkeeping”

Joe Caparatta, aka “Joe Fish”, will be next up speaking Sunday at 2:30P.M. Joe has been passionately invested in aquarium keeping both as a hobby and a primary source of income since a young age. He currently owns and operates Manhattan Aquariums in New York City, Unique Corals and Triton Distribution West in California, and Marco Rocks, along with Marc Tetreault, in Florida. Joe spent almost twenty years building a high-end service company in New York, and after years of running successful businesses, he has many great stories to tell. Joe currently resides in Los Angeles and is married with two sons.
