Does reefapalooza ever come to the northeast or is New York the furthest?

It'll be fun, like every year!

Lots to see, dry goods, foods, corals, even a few nice fish.. There's a lot of goodies to get. Most importantly, a show like this brings in the RARES. The kind stuff money alone can't buy, you need connections to find some of the stuff you'll see here. From mother colonies that will be NFS only, record breaking bounces, etc etc.

For example; A lot of people can afford a Colorado Sunburst anemone, but very few people can find them.. And they've become so overwhelmingly rare to most people, it doesn't even matter if you can afford the eye-watering price -- It matters that your friend has one.

That's what I mean when I say You can go to a show like this, and see the kind of rare that money alone can't buy.

What do you mean by affordable?
Meaning how much

I didn't say "affordable". I said people can afford things, but being able to afford nice things isn't enough in this hobby. Money alone doesn't buy rarity, connections do.

CSB are about $1,500 for a tiny one. Lots of people in this hobby can throw away 1500 and think nothing of it. But the guy with the CSB has a million friends who want a piece, so money alone isn't enough, you have to have the connection too, or you aren't getting anything.

My point was -- If you want to see things that are truly rare, you go to a big show like RAP.
