I have been using it for a while but considering its substantial cost, I would like to get more specific info as to how did you demonstrate its benefits. I understand that you cannot disclose its composition but the current info on it does not seem to justify its use (IMO)
Thanks in advance

There used to be larger package available that had better price to weigh ratio, it seems to be gone now.

What I observed when I used Reef Actif number of years back is that overall the tank looked better, corals looked open and fluffy. Once I run out or Reef Actif the corals did not look as good.

Reef Actif may have played a role or not, I was mainly using TM products at the time. I am slowly migrating back to TM products and Hans Werner way of reef keeping, I used to be stressed less, things seemed easier and I didn’t have mysterious coral deaths.

Just a suggestion maybe stop using Reef Actif for a month or three and see if things improve, stay same or degrade.
It is carbon source so other carbon sources may provide same benefits…

Well… :thinking-face: a better idea for me is to get an answer more specific than “look better”. I do trust TM better than many other brands

Hopefully TM may offer better information and I am curious as well.

With one tank, one can only compare pictures over time and see if things improve or they do not improve and hopefully other reefers observed something similar.

Anyways my observation of what “looks better”:
Before using Reef Actif:

After using Reef Actif:

Another one before:

After I used Reef Actif:

It may have been the AFR with the trace elements or use of TM BB or ….
But overall things “looked better” with Reef Actif.

Good luck,

I am sorry for my late reply. I was on a business trip.

I think the pictures of @Pod_01 show the typical effect quite well: much better polyp extension and better color. What you can't see in the pics is better growth.
