After google searches on controllers i came across one called reef angel. There is not alot of info on or reviews. The price isnt bad and seems it can do most things the other controllers do.

What are thoughts on it

Just got mine, your info is partially correct. It's more customizable than all other controllers. Hit up their forums, Roberto is top notch.

I have been keeping up on it for awhile. It is really interesting and just may be the way I go for my next controller. I love the flexibility and the controllability that goes along with an affordable price point.

i picked 1 up and working out the setup only thing is my pc software is screwed up so have to get it straight than i will have full use of RA and the guys on there forum are very helpfull

I just finished setting up my web stuff, it's a bit of a doozy for a noob like me, but the guys on there are super friendly and helpful.

bluwinghawk, what are you having issues with?

Im a noob as well, but its the way to go as far as im concerned. It can do pretty much anything and Roberto will help you along the way on the forums.

Know if the support software (IDE's, libraries and such) is Mac or Linux (aka Unix) compatible, or is this old-timey windows-only software? (Very interesting application of Arduino to be sure....gonna have to add it to my reading list.)

You can look up the code you know if right from the Arduino software, at least mine automatically saves any update I do. Open up the Arduino software and click open, this should bring you to the folder where they are all saved, click the one you know is correct and go from there.

My pH isn't calibrated yet, but..
