What apps (if any) do you use on your phone to help track your reef tank water, fish, etc?
Any recommendations for a fellow reefer? Please explain any pros/cons.
Any I should stay away from entirely?

I have NO idea what's out there or what's best. Went "window shopping" on App Store last week and there were enough options that I decided to ask you experts first :).

Hopefully not breaking any rules here BUT....... If you are on iOS then myself and thousands of others use Pocket Marine. Its a general encyclopedia with a lot of species to help any impulse buys but also allows you to log and track your tanks details, tests etc. Has graphs also, i know a lot of people love that.

I am biased though, i created Pocket Marine, initially just for myself as a fun thing to help myself in the hobby but turned out it was very useful.

The app speaks for itself and the reviews will help you decide but we are the highest rated aquarium tracking app and theres no subscription or hidden fees.

If you do try it out, let me know about it. Think thats enough toe treading.....

AquaticLog

Aquaticlog. It’s free and I can access the data on other devices. The format of the export is one line per measurement which makes it nice to work with using R.

I can be a little wonky sometimes but mostly good once you get used to it’s idiosyncrasies.

Please can you add the ability to backup to iCloud so it can be synced across iPhone and iPad?
