Not all synthetic sea salts are created equal. Come to think of it, even batches vary within the same brand!

True... Pretty simple to read the labels or test and see the different values..:

I have seen the labels have different values for different things. I have also personally observed different, but not extreme, differences between batches. Honestly though I have yet to see a real difference in the growth, coloration, or overall health of my tank between the expensive brands and the normal brands. So final conclusion from me is its much easier to just dose a bit to get the levels where you want them than spend the extra on the expensive salts. Just my $.02.
