We are going to continue discussing the reef aquarium facts submitted by our members. Do you agree or disagree? What are your thoughts?

Fact #67

In those moments of tank disaster, it is best to take a step back and think your process completely through instead of just trying to fix the first problem you see. "respond, don't react"

Truth or False? What else might we need to learn on this subject? Please also share any pictures that may pertain to the subject. ;)

Hard to say... Me personally I would do a large water change and run carbon... Seems to be the duct tape of reefkeeping... Then I sit back and think it through haha... So I guess react then respond here...

Take a step back, test, observe, think .......Only make one change at a time, test and observe, think ....repeat. If you start changing 2 or 3 things at a time, you will never know what the problem was. This also applies to making changes to tweak your system and make it better.
