Reef Aquarium Lighting

so I have a 30 gallon reef aquarium... I'm currently running some basic LED lighting. Thing is I'm looking at upgrading soon, let's hear your guys opions on what I should run! T5? LED? Halides? My tank mostly consists of Softies and LPS.

I have a 30 gallon also with quad T5 . i have GSP. Yellow star polyp. Candycane mushroom. Frogspawn . armor of god zoa. Pink zipper zoa . and 2 kenya trees. Night light is LED though

Sounds sweet! I was leaning towards T5s but wanted to know what everyone's opinion is!

What is wrong with the lighting you have now? What do you want to improve?

I like MH because you can grow any coral you want under them. T5 is great for coverage and bulb selection. I am personally not a fan of LED. The light just seems plastic to me.

Basically I'm looking for more of a color change in the corals I have, and was looking at kessils or some sort of T5s

You cannot go wrong with t5. I've always had good luck with it. I tried led and it didn't work out to well for my style.

Sb reeflights. Amazing color and insane growth.

Both the blasto and acan started out as one head...blasto has 3 new heads, and acan has two that i can see. Ive only had them for about 4 months if that.
