Well they told me that cyano is scratched off and coraline algae is not. By scratching the rocks this "purpleish" color is slowly removed. So i guess is cyano then?Did you ever figure out if you had cyano or coraline algae?

You'll scratch off coraline with effort. Cyano will literally brush off with a finger tip with little effort.
1. Smell continues even after water change and maintenance. Is constantly there whatever you do.1. water change
2. are you running carbon?
It's got to be the output air from your skimmer.Well loss of a fish i have every now and then, but smell is something constantly.. it is there for months now. Refugium i dont have. Algae problem i also dont have. Ill attach some photos that may help...
