I am dealing with either cyano or dino and I would like to do a couple day blackout to try to get rid of it before it gets any worse....

Do I need to wrap up the tank or can I just leave the lights off?

Do I leave my refugium light on?

Do I feed the fish?

Is there anything I should do to keep the PH from falling?

I had a dino issue and covered my tank with a large blanket, and obviously killing the lights. Not sure if the refugium light would make a difference, but it's not going to hurt to turn it off so I would just to remove it from the equation. I didn't feed my fish, they can go a few days without food. I'd keep an eye on your PH, unless it dips way low, i'd leave it. I did 48 hours covered, uncovered for a day with just actinics, no daylight bulbs, stuff came back in a few places, so i covered again for 24 hours, then actinics only for 24 hours, then back to normal. Worked well, I manually removed as much of the crud as possible before doing the blackout.
