Got this as a gift and thought about giving it a try. I have never feed my coral before.

I personally like to feed my coral, others only like to use fish poop. It really depends on your coral load and what you use for filtration. I run all in one bio pellets and skim, use a filter sock, and do weekly water changes, but I also feed heavy to make up for my clean water. I would say give it a whirl, start slowly, and see if you notice any results in a months time, good or bad. From there you can make a decision on whether or not to continue. The one thing I have noticed over the years, is hobbiest all have success with radically different methods and approches to reef keeping. So part of the fun is experimenting with different products, and seeing what works for you best!

They will cloud the water for a bit, skimmer will go absolutely nuts. Part of the prodibio line, they recommend you start it six weeks after starting the bioclean kit.

After doing a bit more reading, I don't think I am going to try. I am a man of simplicity. I don't dose, add any additives, or feed my corals. My tank is doing good and would like to keep it that way. I think I'll pass on using Reef Booster.

Thats what I like to see, making an educated guess what's best for you. I think so many reefers starting out, myself included when I first started out with acros, would jump on anything I would read that someone else was doing. I don't think any of those methods where necessary bad that I tried. But I was always caught up with the "new" glamorous super growth claims, and I was overlooking the most obvious successful key in reef keeping...test my prameters more..haha, that never seemed fun..but acro steroid juice sounded fun at the time! If I just would have test more in the beginning instead of adding acro drugs...ect..I would have avoided so many issues..

I don't feed my corals on a fixed regimen but a casual treat every 3-4 weeks doesn't do any harm.
