I have one and love it. It reads at the color graduations points of the test kits you are using. It then emails you a visual of the color it read against the color chart. You can further interpolate between the colors if you wish but it does not do that automatically. I totally think that is fine. Its also much easier to interpolate on a screen with the read color against the colors in the color chart.

You also get a notification on your phone when the result is ready. It's cloud based so you can manage it when away on vacation.

I use it for NO3, PO4 and Alk and still have 2 slots open. It does use more RODI and tank water by far than a trident but that is because the test kits you put in it are usually 1-3 reagents and so it washes the needle and the test chamber after using each reagent.

I found this review to be very honest and detailed.

It's been fairly reliable however they do have an issue with the flash memory card sometimes becoming corrupt and needed a user to reflash it. They are working on a way to fix that situation but not sure on when that is expected.

So I have owned my reef bot for about two months now and honestly it's way easier to operate and manage than my GHL KH Director which I have yet to get working successfully since I purchased it. However, I am experiencing an issue were my test are coming back unable to read parameters and I have done everything I can to try and troubleshoot myself. That includes replacing the reagents completely with reagents from brand new test kits, cleaning the vials and yet no success. I am not a fan of the technical support as I feel there is a lack of responsiveness from the group. So here I sit with no ability to test as I wait. :-(
