Reef breeder... I'm having trouble swapping LEDs

Ok
Open unit
Remove LEDs
Solder on new LEDs
Both not working
Resolder, one works
Play around trying to solder... Both working
Set up light, everything works, come home one led out.
What am I missing here? I'm pretty handy... Why is this simple job not working for me? Thanks

The aluminum wicks heat away very fast makes soldering tough, crank the temp up

I figured it has to be if the lights were working, but how does one determine polarity of the led? I see no markings on it

Yeah, I edited after I read again. If it worked once its right. I had polarity issue when doing a DIY. Drove me crazy....but you need not worry, Sorry

I don't think so, would suck if I did, but honestly, they seem to think its a fairly simple process, and Givin the fact they probably know most people don't have any major soldering skills, they still make that claim

I have overheated small wires when soldering and made them brittle and break when building a VW (ironically when making LEDs for it). It was just a stab at the issue? ...... brain storming.
