Super simple

Hi Ace,
I just recently purchased this light. I was told its supposed to ramp up and down at the beginning and ending of its time cycle. Does yours do that? Also, my timer lights are reversed so the 8 hour setting is actually 12 hours and the 12, 8. Is yours like that or do the timer lights work properly? I asked the owner but didn't get a response on those two things. Thanks!

Jeff

I have this light and tbh I’m not sure if it ramps or just turns on and off

You could email reefbreeders and ask if it has ramping

Ok. I actually talked to him (Logan) and he said it did ramp up/down but I haven't seen that nor was it listed in the description.

That’s the v1 not the v2. I’m not sure if there is a difference in the ramping but the wattage and controller are not the same
Ah thanks Well would be dumb to remove it.
Besides Logan should know. Now as to length or steps???

This isn't a guarantee btw.

It’s hard for me to answer the question at hand. The timer is so basic, I don’t know what time mine comes on or off because of a recent power outage. I know it retains the settings but it doesn’t know what time it is. It has a timer not a clock

So when power came back it restarted the schedule, turning on for 8 hours, from the time the power came back. So now it’s some screwy on / off time, so it’s hard for me to intercept and watch

I can unplug and replug at noon (20 min for me) and watch later tonight
