I just wanted to take a quick second to highlight Logan over at Reef Breeders. I did a lot of research before finally pulling the trigger on a new light fixture. I think like most people, as I waited to delivery.... I began to wonder if I made the right decision. There are so many outstanding choices these days!
But I ordered on Wednesday and to my surprise it was shipped the same day and arrived on Saturday... and that's including Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I got everything set up and programmed and thought I had done something wrong.... so I called Reef Breeders and spoke to Logan who talked me through what I was seeing and what the system was doing. Turns out... complete operator error on my part and the system is working perfectly.
After reflecting on the entire process from start to finish, it only reinforced that I made the right decision. After doing weeks of research, I found that the majority of light fixtures come down to personal preference as the performance is so close to one another that the average reefer's (myself) use of any option would be so close to one another that the differences would be negligible. Which then leaves you with durability and customer service. As my system is brand new, I can't speak to durability, but I can speak to customer service and I give Reef Breeders 5 out of 5!
