Does anyone know anything about the reef casa led? And if so what are your thoughts on it. It appears to be a very budget friendly solid light
Thanks!

I just recently purchased a pair for a 75 gallon coral QT tank, so I really don’t know.

I liked them enough that I bought 8 more for a new frag system I set up. I had some pretty good par numbers, but my apex meter isn’t working so I can’t tell where they are for par in the shorter Frag tanks. They are pretty powerful as I got them too high I. The QT and bleached a couple acros. Turned them down and it got better.

If I have the ability to would you suggest to just bite the bullet and get like a prime or Kessil. I just have small 15 gal.
thanks

I have primes. I love them and their app. Just couldn’t justify 8 hydra 64’s for my frag system. They also have a lot of downloadable light schedules that other users have had success with.

It’s a rebranded Spectra Aqua Knight v2. Decent light, you can get them pretty cheap and check the reviews out for the the original to get a good idea of whether it can do what you need it to do.

I have the reef casa halo light on my 12 gallon studio 12 and I’m very happy with it.
I’m looking at this combo and was curious - what is the height of system with the light on it? (I’m wanting to make sure it fits where I’m wanting to put it). Thanks!

I just bought this light from Reef Casa. I am a little annoyed to find out it is a rebrand, but looking online, I can't find it much cheaper, so I don't mind (though it appears discontinued on many websites). I got it with the little shroud for a 2.5 gal cheap petco tank and incase I decide to get their 6 gallon tank but might use it on my Ocean Box Design 1 gallon if the OBD light doesn't work out. I am starting with Monti Ds and Anacroporas since they are a little easier to start than other SPSs. I'll keep you updating on how the Halo works out.
