Reef Chili, anyone have waxy residue problems with it?

I have been getting a waxy film on tank equipment, in hoses and anything the water passes through when feeding Reef Chili. I know it is this stuff and nothing else because I had no problems in my frag tank until I decided to feed this to the tank - same issue as the DT. What is this and can it be potentially be a problem for coral or other livestock?

I use reef chili and do not have that problem. Are you mixing it correctly?

I'm using less than the amount to mix but otherwise I am mixing it correctly. I don't think using less should be a problem.
