Reef Chili Closed Up My Mushroom...Good?

Is this normal? I’ve had it for 3 weeks and it’s stayed open nicely. Tonight I used Reef Chili for the first time and it’s closed up like a button on itself. Does that mean it ate?

They dont really need to be fed.
They get plenty of energy from photosynthesis.
