I'm a long time FW keeper, but this is my first crack at a reef tank. I have just about everything setup and water is going in the tank tonight. I noticed there are a ton of sites to buy corals, macroalgae, and CUCs online (my local LFS is ridiculously priced for these), but I have no experience with this. Reefcleaners.org seems to have the best prices (including shipping), but does anyone have any experience with them? Any other sites that anyone would recommend? If it helps, I'm in the Dallas area.

ReefCleaners has always been awesome when I ordered. From rock to CUCs

+1 for reefcleaners. John provides an excellent assortment of critters, and is always a pleasure to do business with.

Remember to go slow. Here's more info.

I've ordered from reeflcleaners often and have always had good results, until my last order. My last order arrived late ( 6 days shipping) and my emails to them during the delay were not responded to accept to send me a link to the tracking (which I already had). When the shipment arrived most of the copepods were dead silt. and my order of astea snails contained a hermit crab! the crab ate the other snails in the bag so I just had shells. I emailed them about it, but got no reply. Its not a big financial loss because the prices are good and those astea were just 80 cents each. but still I would have liked at least a 'sorry' or maybe a store credit or something. I also described the crab and asked if it was ok to be in the aquarium (he has white claws and not the typical blue or red). No response.
Perhaps this last experience was a one-off. I hope they havn't gone down hill. I'll probably give another vendor a try to compare.

I have been purchasing my rock and cuc from John @reefcleaners for 5+ years now with never an issue and great communication.

I ordered from Reef Cleaners as recently as last month and had no issues....

Also, welcome to R2R!
