I emailed reefcleaners and asked if they have fish with there inverts. I received a reply saying they do not do fish. Would it be safe to order a crew and acclimate and drop in DT withOUT quarantine or is it still advisable to quarantine the inverts from reefcleaners for 73 days? Anybody have good or bad experience with them?

Have used them plenty. Don’t over acclimate. I have never qt inverts.
Go online, order and they come to your door. This is a good time of year to do it

I believe all of their CUC are wild caught local to their location in FL, I have no idea how long they keep them between collection and shipping.

I will email and ask them if they have a different system for new arrivals. I think I will order some on Monday.

Question - my tank is just starting to form brown algae. I noticed there crew for my size tank says it has inverts that cover a wide range of algae. Should I modify this since I am not getting some of the algae that would be for all inverts in the package?

Packages usually include way too many inverts resulting in most starving to death. Hermits will eventually kill something you don't want it to. Usually a snail for its shell. Even if you get a million extra empty shells, they will still want THAT one your snail is in.

Start slow with the snails. You can always get more. After your ugly algae phase has past the growth rate of the algae will slow down and thus your tank won't be able to support as many.

+1

So what snails and how many would be recommend for my specific tank? I am trying to avoid too much die off in the tank.

I’ve ordered from them three times and every time I was disappointed. Like mentioned already, there is always a ton of die off. I’d rather by stuff locally now in smaller quantities.

I have a 32g and order the 10 g all algae crew and added two blue leg hermits because I had hair algae. They cleaned it up within days. I’m pretty sure I have too many snails (I received more than I was supposed to) but they’re tiny so hopefully they don’t need much.

I'd do 1 nassarius, 1 trochus, and 3-4 cerith snails. Hermits are for you really. Grab 2 small blue legs if you want some.

I like ordering from them. I usually get the package for about half the size of my tank and add a few of the others that are offered. They sometimes have some nice ones that aren’t seen very often and I like diversity.

If you order from ReefCleaners, then I suggest 30 dwarf ceriths, 3 ceriths, 3 nerites, and 3 trochus. This is assuming you have enough algae growth to need to clean your glass once a week.
