Reef Club

I was wondering if there was a local reef club or people around that share ideas, trade and so forth. I was in the aqurium shop today talking to Pete and just asked him about what was upstairs. He told me of the club meeting. Well I am not part of and didnt want to be rude by walking in. But I am interested in joining, if the club allows new people. I have a 75 gallon, with a sump and tank is running a little over a year. This is all new to me and would love to get ideas and wisdom from other people.

Awe.. That's too bad.. I'm not actually a member of the club, but David and I were fortunate enough to join them in their meeting today. They wouldn't have minded at all.. I'm sure someone will get on here and talk to you shortly, great group of people who I am sure will welcome you with open arms!

Sam, you should have just barged your way upstairs and introduced yourself. We had pizza and other goodies, keep your eyes open for the next meeting and be sure to come. We are a volunteer only club no dues or things of the sort, so bring yourself, your wife/girlfriend and kids. the more the merrier.

I will keep tabs on the forum and try to come to the next meeting. I also like this forum better than reef builders. i am on that one. plus its great to have local people to talk to.

You can try H@rry at H@rrys frags .com.He is in Huntsville.We have a small coral & fish shp here in Cullman.We only keep livestock such as corals and reef safe fish.We are doing an order tomorrow to be in on Tuesday.There use to be several shops around Huntsville in years past but have disappeared since the economy went south.I did talk to a guy when we came in for the meeting but I dont remember his name.Pete did give him the info for R2R and told him to join us upstairs.We are always happy to meet new folks and talk about our coral addictions.LOL
