Hi all,
Been using brightwell reef code A & B 2 part for years now. I buy the powders and dilute them in rodi water. Just mixed 5 gallons of B-P (buffer), at the same concentration i always do. Before I went to bed, i checked it and it was nice and clear. Figured id let it mix overnight to minimize particles that drop out and settle at the bottom. Woke up and the solution was brown; almost like a tea color.
I mix it in a 5 gallon bucket with a power head and a lid laid over the top to minimize evaporation during mixing. Anyone else experience this before? I checked my power head and there is no signs of rusting or degradation. Wondering if it could have been heat build up causing the color shift… any thoughts?
Thanks in advance
