reef controller open to internet or only lan?

I am interested to find out how far people go once they get their reef controllers and set them up.

I know of you have it open you can potentially control it from your phone but I just don't know if I want it on the internet.

Agreed. I'd be tempted to put an apache instance in-front to proxy the management console and logon for security. but that's a ton of setup and maintenance.
